Rafa Gomes is an illustrator based in Brazil, he combines variations of drawing with the digital. With meticulous precision, his miniatures take on the faces of famous personalities of past and present—from Madonna to Monroe, Willy Wonka to Walter White. By transforming big names into small figures, he casts a critical eye over our very notion of fame. The Studio Selection designs were handpicked in collaboration with the world’s foremost visual experts from around the world - made by independent artists and photographers. We use coated fabric, a blend of cotton and polyester, for our canvas substrate, and we use responsibly sourced wood for stretcher bars, mainly FSC certified wood.
